At Cape Cod Salvage and Recovery, our mission is to provide exceptional underwater services with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship. About Us
Our team is led by Sherman Baldwin, Chief, USCG, Retired. Sherman served in the Coast Guard for over 20 years, focusing on high-risk search and rescue (SAR) operations. Earning the title of Surfman, Sherman operated among the world’s best boat operators for heavy weather and SAR missions conducted on the Coast Guard’s 47-foot Motor Lifeboat. Additionally, Sherman is an NAUI Master Diver with extensive experience in diving in the Pacific Northwest, locating the Giant Pacific Octopus, wreck diving on the treacherous Columbia River (the graveyard of the Pacific), and exploring the Yucatan Cenotes.
